Financial Analyst III
Description

As a Cisco CX Americas FP&A Finance Manager, you will support the Americas CX monthly, quarterly, and annual planning processes, including bookings, revenue, COGS, and P&L plans. You will analyze actuals variance, forecast projections, and key analytics to ensure gross margin accuracy. Additionally, you will collaborate with Sales Finance, the CX WW FP&A Team, and our FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE) to maintain and improve related reporting. The scope will continue to expand with the evolving needs of CX, such as ARR, CX Portfolio Views, and new/renew bookings analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • P&L Forecast and Analysis (Revenue, COGS, Services Gross Margin, OPEX).
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting calendars, working with WW FP&A, theatre finance leads, and business operations.
  • Manage annual planning activities, including Americas Revenue/COGS plan setting, restatements, and plan allocation to theaters.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial modeling of revenue and COGS drivers by service offer, sales hierarchy, annual/multi-year, and new/renew views.
  • Drive process optimization via automation, scaling through Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Dashboard Creation, and FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Consolidate and report on key CX metrics: Recurring Revenue Growth, Services Attach Rates, Renewal Rates, and Services Penetration Rates.
  • Report to the CX Americas FP&A Lead, supporting the Region SVP.

Who You'll Work With:
You will collaborate with CX Theatre Finance Managers, CX WW FP&A, CX Operations Managers, CX S&P, Theater Sales Controllers, CX Theatres VPs, and Directors.

Who You Are:

  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, and business partnership.
  • Highly motivated with a solution-driven mindset.
  • Capable of working to firm deadlines independently and proactively.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with leadership potential.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Proficient in MS Excel (vlookup, lookup, sumifs, countif, if/and/or, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Skilled at transforming large datasets into actionable business insights.
  • Confident in leading live Webex meetings.
  • Familiarity with finance tools (Business Objects, MBR, SFDC, Cisco Ready).
  • Quick learner with a technical aptitude for new tools.
